Description
The Overdue Comedy Club is a midweek night of stand up comedy bang in the heart of Leeds City Centre. From the unique surroundings of the oldest surviving subscription library in the British Isles, it promises to be a truly unique night of first class entertainment.
The show will feature some of the best TV acts on the circuit as well as a few new faces taking the comedy scene by storm.
Housed within the beautiful Georgian building of The Leeds Library and surrounded by our stunning collection of rare and unique books, it provides a perfect, intimate experience for both the audience and the acts.
Book your seats early to avoid disappointment. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.

Nina Gilligan
Sometimes outrageous, always hilarious, observational and storytelling comedy for all.

2021 saw Nina crowned as winner of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Award after also Winning Liverpool Hot Water and being a finalist in English Comedian of The Year in previous years.
She’s supported Jason Manford, Clinton Baptiste and Rachel Fairburn and has been described as a ‘bolshier Mrs Merton’.

Peter Brush
Formerly a BBC New Comedy Award finalist, and winner of Harrogate Comedian of the Year, Peter performs at clubs all over the UK and occasionally abroad. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’ and was the tour support for Alexei Sayle’s 2020 show, other acts he has supported on tour include Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.

Middle Act
Sam Serrano
Sam Serrano is a gender fluid, dyspraxic comedian who has been taking the circuit by storm. A regular in clubs across the UK Sam’s unique trademark style that is dark and self deprecating in equal measure has seen him become a favourite with bookers. It has also seen Sam provide tour support for Brennan Reece and perform an incredible five solo hour shows at Hot Water Comedy Club, Nottingham Comedy Festival & Leicester Comedy Festival.

One of the warmest MC’s on the circuit, Chris is also an actor, writer, director, producer, editor, comedian, and legendary improviser. His shows include The Discount Comedy Checkout and The Halls of the Ridiculous (both at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe).
Chris is also a talented impressionist and featured on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three) and Britain’s Got Talent (ITV 1).
