by

Description

We’re starting a new early evening Book Club for Members in October. The first three Book Club evenings will be held on Monday 14th October, Monday 11th November and Monday 9th December, 5.30pm for a 5.45pm start. Initially, these will be facilitated by writer Richard Smyth. We will be reading popular fiction and our first three titles are:

October – Kate Atkinson’s first Jackson Brodie novel Case Histories (2005);
November – Hilary Mantel’s A Place of Greater Safety (2010);
December – Bradford crime thriller writer A.A. Dhand’s Streets of Darkness (2017).

The Book Club is open to all Library Members. No booking is required, just drop in. If you can’t make it and want to find out about what was discussed, Richard will be writing a blog article which you will be able to access on the website and our social media channels after the Book Club meeting. If you have any questions please contact Fiona: gellf@theleedslibrary.org.uk. The current Tuesday morning book club continues as normal.
