For Heritage Open Day, find out where famous Leeds-born or Leeds connected people lived and worked. View our wonderful collection of old and new Leeds maps, books and pictures on 14th-15th and 21st-22nd; and lunchtime tours of the Leeds Library (13th;16th-20th).

Over the weekends of 14th-15th and 21st-22nd Sept – have you ever wondered where the famous sons and daughters of Leeds lived and worked? Our exhibition will inform you about the city’s celebrities and worthies and tell you what they did and where they did it! You can view our wonderful collection of old and new Leeds maps, books and pictures. There’s no need to book, just drop in.

On Saturday 14th Sept, 12-4pm, we will also be holding a BOOK SALE so come along and see if you can find a book bargain!

If you’d like to find out more about the Leeds Library, you can visit us between 12-2pm on Friday 13th and Mon- Fri 16th-20th. Please book on to a 30 minute lunchtime tour at 12.15 and you can also have a look at our current exhibition. Booking is essential.
