Dear Member,
We hope you, your family and loved ones are safe and well.
Thank you for the support and goodwill you have shown since we had to close the doors of the Library on the 21st March – it’s really appreciated. During the closure we have been looking after the Library building and collections and we are really looking forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is safe to do so.
We are hoping that subject to the approval of the Government we may be able to reopen in early July. Currently, we are actively considering how to ensure that when we do open, we operate in a way that provides a safe and welcoming environment to Members whilst maintaining social distancing and meeting any other requirements expected of us by the Government. As we make our plans, we want to ensure that we take into account, and respond to your concerns about returning to the Library and resuming active membership. We also want to know your views on how we have engaged with you during the closure and what we can do to improve our communications with you in the future. We would, therefore be grateful if you would complete a short survey, the link for which is shown below. Your responses will be kept confidential, but your input will help us develop our plans for reopening over the next few weeks. We would appreciate it if Members could complete this survey by no later than Monday 8th June.

Thank you in advance for completing the survey.
Best wishes
