Room Hire at The Leeds Library
Just a ten-minute walk from Leeds Train Station, The Leeds Library provides a unique venue for talks, training sessions, conferences and seminars. Whether you are seeking a space for a small meeting, a talk, book launch, or even a private tour of the library, we offer an gorgeously unusual setting for literary lovers looking for a unique and authentic venue.
The Leeds Library is a stunning Grade II* listed building in the heart of Leeds that houses the oldest subscription library in the UK. Our home was built in 1808, with Victorian additions in the 1880s, and we still boast many original features as well as an ever-growing collection of 140,000 books (including many rare editions!).
The Library is available for evening hire for a range of business and corporate events, including networking, dinners, receptions, awards, presentations, launches and celebrations.
To speak to a member of the team about hiring the Library, please call 0113 2453071 or email enquiries@theleedslibrary.org.uk.
Please note that the Leeds Library isn’t currently fully-accessible due to the building’s heritage status. However, we have recently completed the purchase of an adjoining building, and work is under way to install a through-floor lift and accessible bathrooms. Please check our Accessibility Statement HERE before booking.
