The Otley Run Poetry Walk with Joe Williams

by The Leeds Library

Description

Join award winning poet Joe Williams as he brings his book, An Otley Run, to life whilst walking part of The Otley Run.

Leeds Lit Fest presents

Award-winning Leeds poet Joe Williams’ latest book is ‘An Otley Run’, a verse novella telling the story of a day spent doing the city’s most famous pub crawl. In this unique event, Joe will perform the entire book, bringing the characters to life as we walk in their footsteps along the Otley Run route, from Woodies in Far Headingley to the Dry Dock at the edge of the city centre. The walk ends with an informal Q&A and a drink at Carriageworks Theatre.

Please note that this walk includes alcohol. It has strong language and adult themes.

Meet at St Chad’s War Memorial, opposite Woodies, LS16 5JT. Walking distance is approx. 3 miles. Dress appropriately for the weather.

This ticket is non-refundable.
