In 2019 Robert Lloyd Parry inherited a shabby antique chest-cum-piano-stool from a distant relative he’d never met and whose name meant nothing to him. Inside was a trove of chilling documents: letters, diaries, newspaper cuttings, notebooks. All neatly filed and organized.
