Poet Hannah Stone’s guest for Nowt But Verse this month is John Goodby.

John Goodby’s current work includes his biography of Dylan Thomas (for Reaktion Books’ Critical Lives series, due out for the 70th anniversary of DT’s death, next year); a poem sequence on fainting, blood loss, Brexit and a duodenal ulcer (Swoon); and a collaborative concrete poetry response to the Tour of Wales by Giraldus Cambrensis with David Annwn. Very recently he began making collages and posting them online; they seem to somehow help his written work. There’s a third Red Ceilings chapbook due out later this year: So, Rise.
