Description
Hannah Stone’s guest for Nowt but Verse on Friday 18th December is Niall Campbell.
We are delighted that for our final Nowt but Verse this year we are joined by Niall Campbell, a poet from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, now living in Leeds. His debut pamphlet After the Creel Fleet was published by Happenstance in 2013. His first collection, Moontide, won the inaugural Edwin Morgan Poetry Award and the Saltire First Book of the Year, both in 2014. Noctuary, his second collection, was published in 2019 and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection. Niall was awarded an Eric Gregory award in 2011 and an Arvon-Jerwood Mentorship in 2013.
To book your place, register here on Eventbrite and you will be emailed a Zoom link to the event on Thursday 17th December at 5.30pm. Please check your spam as well for the email if it doesn’t appear. This event will start at 1pm with around 40 minutes of conversation between the poets followed by 10 mins of questions from the audience with no open mic. We look forward to entertaining you with our conversation.
