Hannah Stone’s guest for Nowt but Verse on Friday 17th July is Becky Cherriman, a writer, workshop facilitator and performer who is well known to The Leeds Library through her curation of their Speaking to the Shelves creative writing workshops. She has been placed in several prestigious poetry competitions and has published a pamphlet, Echolocation (Mother’s Milk) and Empires of Clay (Cinnamon Press). She collaborates with actors and artists and works for the University of Leeds Lifelong Learning Centre as a Teaching Fellow in Professional Studies. Her website is www.beckycherriman
To book your place, register here on Eventbrite and you will be emailed a Zoom link to the event on Thursday 16th July. This event will start at 1pm with around 40 minutes of conversation between the poets followed by 10 mins of questions from the audience with no open mic.
This is a free event with an option to donate with all proceeds going to the Leeds Library.
