Join Leeds based poet Hannah Stone for  a series of regular Friday Lunchtime poetry readings at Leeds Library.

December’s Nowt but Verse takes us to the dark corners of Tudor England and its ill-fated  royals. Hannah Stone’s guest on 20 December is Edwin Stockdale who is focusing on his third poetry collection as part of his PhD in Creative Writing at Leeds Trinity University. His first two chapbooks are published by Red Squirrel Press. Edwin’s poems are little gems of observation. Booking is free. Bring your own lunch and prepare to be chilled and transported into a world of incarceration and persecution.
