This long-established Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am.

The selection of books is made from Members’ own suggestions and is published in advance. The next books to be discussed are:

4th May A Perfect Spy by John le Carre

1st June Goldmund and Narsizz by Herman Hesse

6th July The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

3rd August Candide by Voltaire (preferably Penguin Classics edition trans. Theo Cuffe)

The Leeds Library offers all Members the choice of two book clubs to join. One meets monthly on a Monday evening and the other meets monthly on a Tuesday morning. Currently both meet on Zoom but we hope that will change back to in person meetings in the Library in the coming months. Read more here.
