Description

Captured in the folds of the paper enveloping the performer, time is frozen. As her body begins to move, the space unfurls, shifts and transforms into a sculpture that is neither falling nor rising, constantly changing while reality and imagination overlap and trace each other. It is an invitation to a new way of seeing the world, a way that is both fixed and ever-changing

Page 127: is an installation created by Maria Popova drawing on sculptural and contemporary dance techniques. Performance times are 7.30pm-8.15pm and 9.00pm-9.45pm. The audience can come and go from Leeds Library as they feel throughout the whole evening, both during and in-between performance times.
