Beowulf

by The Leeds Library

Description

Part of the Leeds Lit Festival 2019
Before we begin, I should warn you: This story ends with a dragon.
But every story ends with a dragon.  If you make it to ‘Happily Ever After’ and there isn’t a dragon.  If you make it to ‘Happily Ever After’ and there isnt a dragon nearby…the story isnt over yet.
Seth Kriebel’s Beowulf is an interactive performance-game: you are invited to explore the world of a legendary story from our ancient past… without leaving your seat.
Each show is unique, guided by your choices as you journey through strange lands… illuminating the original epic and asking why, after all these years, we still need stories to help us face our fears.
Delivers both laughter and poetry ****
