Leeds Lit Fest 21: Ian Dunt – How to be A Liberal

by The Leeds Library

Description

From Brexit Britain to Trump’s America to Orban’s Hungary, liberalism is under attack. In a soaring narrative that stretches from the English Civil War to the 2008 financial crash and the rise of populism, Ian Dunt will talk through the epic story of the development of liberal thought. His book How to Be a Liberal, is a rallying cry for those who still believe in freedom and reason. Ian is a British author, political journalist and broadcaster. He is the editor of politics.co.uk and a host on the Remainiacs podcast.
