The Leeds Library is what it is today thanks to the members, librarians, other library staff, professional advisers, craftsmen and tradesmen each of whom has played a part in its rich history. Add to them the countless authors, publishers and printers who together have produced the life blood of the library – the books, periodicals and other materials on its shelves – as well as those who continue to sustain and to develop the library today.
