The Leeds Library began life modestly in 1768 above a bookseller’s shop. Today it is one of the country’s newest charities with a wonderful collection of books and periodicals housed in a fine two hundred year-old building.

The library will be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th May.

We are open as usual on Wednesday 29th May

 

The Leeds Library is now open every Saturday
