register 1The Leeds Library began life modestly in 1768 above a bookseller’s shop. Today the library is a charity and has a wonderful collection of books and periodicals housed in a fine two hundred year-old building.

Extended opening hours...
We are excited to tell you the library will be trialling later opening hours in December in the weeks leading up to the festive holidays. From 1st December we will extend our usual hours and open from 9am-6pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 9am-8pm on Thursdays.
